Osteopathy is a hands-on healthcare profession focused on the musculoskeletal system and how the body’s structure may influence movement, pain, and overall function.
Treatment may include manual therapy, movement assessment, exercise rehabilitation, education, and advice tailored to your individual needs.
-
These professions all help manage pain, movement, and musculoskeletal conditions, but they often have slightly different approaches.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy combines hands-on treatment, movement assessment, exercise rehabilitation, and education, with a whole-body approach to pain and function.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy often focuses heavily on rehabilitation, exercise prescription, injury recovery, and improving physical performance.
Chiropractic
Chiropractic commonly focuses on spinal and joint treatment, including manipulation and mobility-based care.
Remedial Massage
Remedial Massage focuses primarily on muscles and soft tissues to help reduce tension and improve recovery.
There is significant overlap between professions, and the best approach depends on the individual, their condition, and their goals.

You are always encouraged to communicate during treatment so techniques can be adjusted if needed.
